The Economist – Inventing the future

The last edition of The Economist has an interesting article titled “Some lessons on inventing the future in Britain” about how to make ARIA (Advanced Research and Invention Agency) work.

However, on page 25 there´s also an interesting article about Britain´s largest police force where one can read that officers had joked for years about “turning African into dog food“. So probably DARPA’s mission should also encompass inventing a new way to produce new and less racist Britain police officers because as Lincoln once wrote  “A house divided against itself cannot stand”.
